Project description :

The in-depth hydrological and hydraulic study aims to improve flood resilience in this developing area, which covers an extension of the multi-sector industrial park, with an area of ​​76 hectares, a second extension of the multi-sector industrial activity park with an area of ​​70 hectares and the medical center extending over 102 hectares.

The study area is located south of the Monastir salt flats: it is a sebkha spread over a very gentle slope, it constitutes the natural outlet of some watercourses. Due to the nature of the terrain, in particular the presence of the sebkha, some flows have difficulty flowing and stagnate at specific points in the study area.
