The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF) aims to halt and reverse nature loss by guiding actions to conserve and protect nature and its essential ecosystem services for people. The framework consists of four global targets for 2050 focusing on ecosystem and species health, including halting human-induced species extinction, sustainable use of biodiversity, equitable benefit sharing, and implementation and financing
UNDP and the Ministry of Environment have commissioned our consortium of consultancies to establish the new National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plans (NBSAP).
Services provided:
- Activity 1 : Review and update of NBSAPs for the implementation of the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework
- Activity 2 : Assessment of monitoring systems
- Activity 3 : Alignment of policies and institutions with the post-2020 GBF
