The program covers three main sectors, namely the red and white meat sector, the fruit, vegetable and legume sector, and the fishery products sector.
The establishment of a commercial platform (a wholesale market for fruits, vegetables and legumes, a livestock market and a slaughterhouse) located in Béja will allow the rationalization of the supply system, to consolidate the commercial dynamics between Tunisia and its eastern neighbor and to integrate this northwestern region into a larger market including western Algeria.
