The extensions of industrial zones and the creation of new zones are necessary in response to a growing need for land for industrial use. The aim is to market serviced lots of varying sizes, responding to the demands of developers and also reducing the development of units located haphazardly in the urban fabric or to the detriment of agricultural land.
