PROJECT TO ESTABLISH A ROAD DATABASE

The state road network consists of approximately 19,455 km of classified roads (under the responsibility of the Ministry of Equipment). It includes 356 km of highways, 4,745 km of national roads, 6,495 km of regional roads and 5,928 km of local roads. Over the past decade, traffic has recorded an average annual growth rate of 6.1%.

The establishment of a road database is part of the effort of the Ministry of Equipment to upgrade and modernize working tools and network upkeep and maintenance planning.

Services provided

• Traffic data analysis and modeling
• Review of the institutional framework of the road sub-sector
• Collection of ground auscultation data: geometric data, GPR (thicknesses of pavement structures and GPR), road cores, UNI, images, rutting, cracking, etc., visual inspections of drainage, inspection of structures, etc
• Data processing and recording on the Road Database (BDR)
• Multi-criteria examination
