Client : National Sanitation Office (ONAS)
Date : 2013 - 2014
Partner : SEURECA
Project description
The Choutrana and Charguia purification complex drains a large part of the wastewater from Greater Tunis and constitutes one of the four major purification centers in the region. These two stations operate in a coupled fashion, the Charguia station conveying its surplus to the Choutrana station.
The 16000 m3 / h capacity transfer system was implemented in 1981. This system is subjected to multiple pressures, it has become obsolete, subsidence and water overflows are more and more frequent.
The purpose of this study is to carry out studies for the execution of a new structure plan to ensure the transfer of sludge and wastewater separately from the Charguia station to the Choutrana station in the best safety conditions and economic rationality.
