Project description

The two water supply pipes are part of the construction of the new Mdhilla 2 factory of GCT, located in Mdhilla. This plant will be supplied with water from three boreholes located 50 km from the plant. The supply system includes pumping and recovery stations as well as a regulation basin and several specific hydraulic structures (drain, suction cup, etc.). This study focused on the analysis of the best technical and economic options for the realization of the water supply from the boreholes to the site of the Mdhilla 2 plant.

Description of the services provided

• Hydraulic study and sizing of the two pipes
• Location and definition of pumping substations for each pipe
• Sizing of water tanks
• Sizing and design of anti-rams
• Study of specific structures (road crossing, wadis, etc.)

Development of execution plans and calculation notes for specific structures.
