Project description

The Eddir dam is located in the northeast of Tunisia. The main objectives of this development are:

• Regulation for the operation and management of the Eddir wadi basin
• The creation of new irrigated perimeters

The main characteristics of the dam are as follows:

• Useful capacity of the reservoir: 11.25 hm3
• Height of the dam: 45 m
• Crest length: 510 m

The spillway consists of a lateral earthen spillway. The water intake consists of a 49 m high intake tower; a concrete gallery with a DN 1800m section provides the bottom drainage.

Description of the services provided

• Preparation and monitoring of geological and geotechnical reconnaissance campaigns
• Revision and development of the APS
• Development of the detailed preliminary design
• Establishment of works execution plans
