HYDRAULIC STUDY FOR TWO UNDERGROUND PIPES COMING INTO THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT OF THE SODIUM SULPHATE PRODUCTION PLANT AT SEBKHAT OM KHIALATE IN THE GOVERNORATE OF TATAOUINE

Project description :

Om Khialate is characterized by an underground water table of brine rich in sodium sulphate. The brine will be brought to the plant through underground pipelines from the sebkhat located 7.5 km from the plant by installing intermediate pumping stations and buffer tanks.

Description of the services provided :

• Hydraulic study and sizing of the two pipes
• Study on temperature conservation, the risk of clogging, unblocking by designing a hydro-cleaning system along the pipe
• Location and definition of the number of pumping substations for each of the pipes
• Sizing of buffer tanks
• Comparative study of the power supply of pumping stations
• Development of execution plans and calculation notes for specific structures.
