The perimeter of Sidi Saad is made up of four sectors and has an area of ​​4670 ha; it is served from the Sidi Saad dam, built in the early 1980s, by two supply pipes DN1400 and DN600 and distribution pipes inside the perimeter.

The object of this project is to improve the performance and operational reliability of the existing system and to study the possibilities of extending the perimeter and regularizing the situation of farms currently irrigated with irrigation contracts. seasonal. This involves reviewing its limits, taking into account the available water resources and the hydraulic capacity of the network to ensure adequate hydraulic service to all operations in the perimeter.

Description of the services provided:

• Diagnostic study to identify the current management conditions of the perimeter and the constraints in the operation and maintenance of the system
• Land consolidation study and identification of irrigated areas outside the perimeter
• Calculation of the hydraulic balance of the perimeter (available resources and future needs) and analysis of the hydraulic operation of the network, taking into account the extensions
• Topographic work for new sections and extensions
• Participatory diagnosis and socio-economic studies
• Socio-economic feasibility study of the extension
• Establishment of the preliminary draft summary of several variants
• Establishment of the detailed preliminary design and tender documents.
