HAZARDOUS WASTE – STUDY AND CONSTRUCTION OF THREE RECEPTION, STORAGE AND TRANSFER CENTERS – IRST

Project Description

These projects are carried out within the framework of the National Solid Waste Management Program (PRONAGDES), set up by the Ministry of the Environment, for the integrated management of hazardous waste on a national scale. The concept provided for the construction of a nationwide processing center as well as three regional IRST centers (installation, reception, storage and transfer).

The three centers are designed for the following quantities:

• North Poles in Bizerte (27900 t/year)
• Center pole in Sfax (12,700 t/year)
• South Pole in Gabès (9300 t/year)

• Detailed preliminary projects
• Tender file for companies, civil engineering works, acquisition of fixed equipment and mobile equipment
• Assistance in the analysis of offers and assistance in procurement
• Approval of execution studies
• Supervision and management of civil engineering works and equipment supply
